Overview of Lesson Package
 
     
Age Group:   14 years old
     
Classroom Size:   20 students to 1 teacher
     
Schedule:   3 lessons
     
    Students are required to draw and colour render an apple with reference
    to teacher's completed artwork example and small-group live demonstration.
     
    Students are given the choice of either copying the same example
    demonstrated by the teacher or take initiative to buy an apple and do
    first-hand observation drawing of it.
     
Time:   110 mins of lesson time + 10 mins of housekeeping
     
Overview:   Colour copying in colour pencils
     
 
 
Students' Artworks
 
 
The challenges in this lesson for the students are as follow:
1. Drawing the shape of the apple accurately.
2. Picking up the colours that they observed in the apple accurately.
3. Putting on paper the colours that they have observed and use colour blending
technique to recreate the colours.
4. Shading the apple with curved strokes to recreate the spherical form.
The above points also made up the success criteria of the assessment.
