Students are required to draw and colour render an apple with reference |

to teacher's completed artwork example and small-group live demonstration. |

demonstrated by the teacher or take initiative to buy an apple and do |

first-hand observation drawing of it. |

| The challenges in this lesson for the students are as follow: |
| 1. Drawing the shape of the apple accurately. |
| 2. Picking up the colours that they observed in the apple accurately. |
| 3. Putting on paper the colours that they have observed and use colour blending |
| technique to recreate the colours. |
| 4. Shading the apple with curved strokes to recreate the spherical form. |
| The above points also made up the success criteria of the assessment. |
